RCA in Action
RCA is proud of the various projects and accomplishments that have been achieved for our neighborhood. Some of our successes include:
Diligently worked with the Sacramento Unified School District, Tiechert and others to establish Rosemont High School.
Worked with Sacramento County Neighborhood Services to have Rosemont Community signs erected at Rosemont's boundaries.
Spearheaded the design landscaping of the community’s entrance at Manlove and Sutters Gold.
Engaged the County of Sacramento on its plans to expand the Juvenile Hall Facility along Kiefer Blvd. to ensure the new building designs incorporated ascetically pleasing architecture and landscaping.
Worked with Meritage Homes to create aestheitcally pleasing, reasonably-sized homes behind the High School.
Ensured Rosemont did not become a location for Rancho Cordova CDC low-income housing project.
Established an annual Holiday Toy Drive for the children of our community through the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Established an on-going working relationship with the Sacramento County Work Project that provides continuing litter clean-up services to our community.
Lobbied the Board of Supervisors on behalf of residents concerned about odors emanating from the Green Waste Recycling facility located in south end of Rosemont, which resulted in its removal from our area.
